Some parents sacrifice their own needs for their children.
Janis Higgins met her future father when she was a child. Just before proposing to Janis’s mom, he sold his cherished green 1973 Corvette Stingray to support his new family.
Now, forty years later, Janis, a successful businesswoman, decided to repay her dad’s sacrifice. In a viral video, Janis and her dad stroll through a sunlit parking lot after a family brunch.
Spotting a beautiful green muscle car, her dad reminisces about his past car. Janis then reveals a license plate that reads “YDHT,” meaning “you didn’t have to.” She hands him the keys, and he is overcome with emotion, embracing her tightly.
Janis’s dad eagerly takes his daughter for a test drive, cherishing the gift more than ever. It’s a heartwarming gesture that beautifully repays her dad’s selflessness. Watch the touching video below and share the love.
