For 6 years, a dog named Capitan slept on his owner’s grave every night.
His owner, Miguel Guzman, passed away in 2006. Capitan disappeared after the family attended the funeral, and despite their efforts to search for him, he remained unseen.
A week later, some people at the cemetery spotted Capitan lying on the grave and contacted the groundskeeper.
The family was notified and took him home. However, each night Capitan would cry and scratch at the door, only returning home in the morning.
It was discovered that Capitan would walk 3 miles back to the cemetery each night to guard his master’s grave.
This continued for 7 years, with the cemetery keeping the gates open until Capitan arrived promptly at 6 pm.
He would sleep there all night, guarding the grave until the groundskeeper opened the gate in the morning.

Adorable photo shows an elderly man feeding his wife ice cream in 98-degree weather
A nice man named Pastor Brent Kelley and his kids went to get some ice cream after a long day outside. While they were there, they saw something really sweet happen with an old couple.
“After we went swimming and got ice cream, I saw an old man sitting outside his car. He was feeding his wife ice cream with a spoon. She looked really old too, maybe in her late 80s,” Pastor Brent said.
The old man was so caring. He put a towel over his wife and fed her slowly, even though it was really hot outside. Pastor Brent thought it was a beautiful way to show love.
This story reminds us that good things happen every day, even though we hear mostly about bad things on TV. We should look around and see the kind and loving things that people do. When we notice these things, it makes us happier and more positive. Acts of kindness happen much more often than scary things, so let’s focus on the good and be happier!
